Our instruction today was not as long as it was the previous week. Basic orientation of our mission assignment was given to us. The next two or three days will be instruction for our specific duties for the next year and a half. Some of the time was spent in becoming better acquainted with the other members of our abbreviated group. Others have gone on to family search, proselyting, or office assignments.
Just a word or two about Sunday. The day began with s.meeting. Many of them were going on and in an effort to find the one we were assigned to, we stumbled into one that was for Spanish speaking missionaries. The music was sung in Spanish as were the talks except the one by the visitor. Then after the other two meetings and dinner there was a fireside concert by the BYU male chorus. It was very good. Some of our group is shipping out early in the morning and tomorrow.
